Learning from her mum, who owned a highly successful real estate company in Johannesburg, ils has a lifelong passion for the industry. “I’m really following in her footsteps.
That’s where the passion grew. I always knew I wanted to do this,” says ils.
Her father, Manie Alberts, a ‘Springbok’ athlete and 3 times world champion in Lawn Bowls, has been her inspiration from an early age. This has been the foundation of her success.
ils began her real estate career in 2005 shortly after they moved to Australia. Along with her husband, Ian Townley, they have made quite a name for themselves in the local area thanks to their top-notch customer service, highly-skilled negotiation tactics along with their professional and consistent branding package.
“We go the extra mile for our clients to achieve awesome results,” says ils. “Last year, all but one property was sold for over the asking price.”
Impressive, but not surprising, coming from someone who has just celebrated a record year in real estate.
In 2014, ils was the recipient of numerous sales awards, including Best Listings to Settlement, Highest Average Price, Most Recommended Agent and Number One Agent in Parkinson, among several others.
As an expert in the local area, ils utilizes her expansive knowledge to assist clients in attaining the most for their home. “I know what’s on the market and what’s been sold, so I can advise my clients on what current buyers are looking for. We give complimentary tips on staging and design, or we’ll even stage the home for them to get it ready for photographs and open homes, as well.” In addition, ils and Ian are dedicated to their brand, which is highly recognizable in the area. ”
